“Production companies don’t design their own branding for the same reason doctors don’t treat their own family – it’s illegal. Besides, you’re liable to let emotions out-weigh rationality. Our company works daily with North America’s top branding firms and choosing Spotvin was a no-brainer. He gets us…he listens…and he’s got mad skills.  We couldn’t ask for more.  Yet somehow we got more than we hoped for.”

Love these guys.  We have been very fortunate to work with Nick/Cam and the gang at Suede for many years now.  Creative and inspiring folks, we were honoured to be asked to work on their new branding. The existing logo was clean “American Typewriter” text and they were looking for something a bit more unique and stylized. After exploring many different directions, we landed on the hand scripted version you see here. To be honest the process is not that complex other than using a tablet (computer writing device) and writing it a million times (with various weights and pressure) till something sticks. Thank the branding gods we did.

We love the motion and vibe of this one, plus, after a few tweaks and cleans, it was ready to be shown. All of us were thrilled that they liked it as much as we did, and we can’t wait to see it on their building and crew tshirts.
